报告内容:We will discuss recent progress in developing sustainable elastomers from renewable biomass. Highly efficient approaches towards mono-functional monomers and thermoplastic polymers from plant oils were developed for the design of ABA triblock copolymer TPEs. Macromolecular architectures towards next-generation TPEs using biomass as starting materials were also explored. Multi-graft copolymers with a rigid backbone (cellulose and lignin) and elastic side chains behaved like typical TPEs. This new approach could be generalized into other types of hard substrates and elastic side chains. Human skin-mimicking elastomers were obtained by chemical cross-linking of polyisoprene grafted cellulose and subsequent mechanical processing.

报告人简介:汪钟凯,教授,博士生导师,青年皖江学者,教研室主任。全国天然纤维复合材料专业委员会委员,安徽省材料科学与工程专业合作委员会委员。2009年本科毕业于合肥工业大学,2014年获中国科学技术大学材料加工工程工学博士学位,随后在美国南卡罗来纳大学化学与生物化学系进行博士后研究,20168月起任安徽农业大学教授。近年来在Advanced Materials, ACS Nano, Green Chemistry, Macromolecules等国际高水平期刊发表SCI论文28(JCR一区17),影响因子总计144,总引用378次,H指数为112016年起主持国家自然科学基金、安徽省留学回国人才创新项目(重点)、安徽农业大学高层次人才项目,参与国家重点研发计划。获得中国发明专利授权2项,申请美国发明专利1项,参与撰写英文专著一部。
